About Dr. Zohar Kadmon
Dr. Zohar Kadmon specializes in all legal aspects of media, journalism, and content and represents producers, talent, format creators and entrepreneurs. In addition to her expertise in intellectual property law, Dr. Kadmon's clients benefit from her deep understanding of the commercial and technological aspects of their business, and her familiarity with media regulation in Israel and abroad.
Dr. Kadmon holds a Ph.D. from the Columbia University School of Journalism (2014) and an M.A. in Media Studies from Stanford University (1996). She received her LL.B from the Tel Aviv University Law School and clerked at the Israeli Supreme Court for the Honorable Justice Theodor Or, and at the Ron Gazit, Rotenberg & Co. law firm.
During 2022-2023, Dr. Kadmon was a member of the Israeli Minister of Defense search committee for the Commander of the Israeli Army Radio.
In 2021, Dr. Kadmon served as a member of the Journalism Award Committee of the Israeli Press Institute.
Between 2015-2019 Dr. Kadmon served as the Chairperson of the Israeli Channel 10 News Corporation.
Until 2012 Dr. Kadmon served as Vice President and General Counsel of the Keshet Media Group and was responsible for all legal matters of Israel's largest commercial broadcaster.
A graduate of the music program at Thelma Yellin High School, Dr. Kadmon is a pianist and keyboardist who frequently performs with various bands and ensembles.
